The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) launched a new website and announced the return of a number of key sponsors as it prepares for what it says will be a busy administration period from now until the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

While pleased that inroads have gradually been made, Jamaica Football Federation President Michael Ricketts says there is still a way to go to secure the over-$100 million needed to cover expenses towards the senior Reggae Girlz second-consecutive appearance at the Fifa Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand this summer.

Jamaica is proud of their youth table tennis team who won seven bronze medals at the 2023 CRTTF Youth U15/U19 Table Tennis Tournament just concluded in Georgetown, Guyana.

This performance betters their four bronze medals at last year’s tournament. Gari Wythe won 3 medals and was thus the top performer for Jamaica. Congratulations are in order for the athletes, coaches, manager and parents who comprised the Jamaican delegation to Georgetown, Guyana.

We take this opportunity to recognize our sponsors, large and “large enough”, who made this achievement possible: the Sports Development Foundation, The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports, Optical Solutions International Limited, West Indies Petroleum, Grace Kennedy Group, KC Old Boys Association, Barita Foundation, Blue Logistics, Maritime & Transport Services Ltd, Derbran Marine Services Ltd, Kingston Wharves and other donors who wish to remain anonymous.

By virtue of this performance Jamaica has qualified in 3 team events (GU15, BU15, GU19) for the ITTF PanAm Championships in Charleston, USA in July 2023.
