Thanks for your support in ensuring that the Court was built. The girls won the competition again. Netball has been a sport that Portland Cottage Primary formerly Portland Cottage All Age, loves and participate in. We were competitive and we did fairly well, although we did not have a proper netball court.

Thanks to the Sports Development Foundation we were gifted with a multipurpose court and this has helped our netball improve leaps and bounds. We were able to retain our INSPORT netball title again. With our new court we will be working very hard to be champions again in 2023.

The Southern Basketball Conference and the mother of Miss Jennell Houston wishes to express our gratitude to the SDF for providing financial support to Miss Houston enabling her to access her scholarship offer to attend the North Florida Educational Institure recently.

Miss Houston left the island on Tuesday November 8, 2022 and so far the feed back from the coaches have been most encouraging.

Without the support of the SDF this would not have been possible for her and behalf of everybody we wish to express our gratitude and thanks.

Miss Houston we are sure, is very much aware of the responsibility on her shoulders to make maximum use of this opportunity.

Hampton School hereby acknowledges the Sports Development Foundation’s generous gesture of repaving and fencing of our Netball and Tennis Courts. The refurbished Courts are essential to a robust Physical Education and Sport Programme.

As such, we express our profound gratitude and extend to the Sports Development Foundation our best wishes, as it continues in its thrust to assist various institutions in need.

Four youths of our outreach project in the community were recently offered basketball scholarships to attend the North Florida Educational Institute in the USA. Three girls and one boy:
    Fabian Kennedy - Camperdown High

The 3rd girl Jennell Houston is still pending as her birth paper is being processed. We have been assisted by the office of Minister Grange in resolving this matter.

The Eastern Secondary Schools Sports Association extends gratitude to you for the donation of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars to enable the hosting of our event at the National Stadium. This certainly assisted us greatly in defraying the cost of the event.

I am happy that you were kind enough to contribute to the development of our young and talented athletes who got the opportunity to showcase their athletic capabilities at such a momentous event as Eastern Championships.

Again I express sincere gratitude and wish the Sports Development Foundation every success in their future endeavours.
